i'm doing a great job of avoiding the little things i need to do before we head out tomorrow. i so need this time away. it's been way too long since i've seen my family and i desperately need a break from frednecksburg. i shouldn't call it that, this place is growing on me. i just need to see a different part of the country for a few days. patrick keeps telling me about how gorgeous hawaii is, how he'd love for me to be there with him. i'm so jealous that he gets to go to all these places and i get to stay here and plug away at my normal boring life.
total subject change....i gotta remember to set the vcr to tape bsg while we're out of town. don't want to come back and have missed an episode.
i'm suddenly rather tired and should get to bed at a reasonable hour tonight. tomorrow will be a long day. this whole trip is going to be busy. maybe while we're in denver, patrick and i can get some time to ourselves, let the mini blind spend some quality time with his grandparents. they are just gonna flip when we show up, he's entirely changed since they saw him last. hell, he blows me away daily with some cute thing he's said or done that shows he's a big boy now.
ok, i'm rambling again so i guess i need to get some stuff done for real.
